Ok while I was starting my paper...

I decided to do an extreme sidebar..

myspace vs facebook...

oh yea controversy right!?

l0l both websites are fine with me bc of course I have both.

ok problem with myspace...

1. you get to a point where u don't know more than a 1/4 of your friends

2. people start to stalk you on myspace

3. people steal your pictures & make another profile pretending to be you

4. people stupidly...post their personal business on myspace...thinking people from their school, family, friends/boyfriend/girlfriend won't find out

5. MYSPACE DRAMA...everyone who has one knows what I mean

6.people seriously argue over the internet...(CHILDISH!)

7. people seriously get mad at you if you don't put them on your top friends...(RIDICULOUS!!!)

Good things about myspace.

1. you make new friends (isn't that every web community tho)

2. people know thats most likely the fastest way to reach you if they don't call you

3. you can put cool pics, a music on your profile

4. you can pretty much do anything on myspace.

5. you can take a pic of a random boy/girl. put them on ya page...& pretend their your boyfriend/girlfriend...& they'll never know bc they have like 15000 friends...its makes you look less lonely...& u look like a stalker...but you're not the only one. l0l

ok good things about facebook

1.you can deny people who want to be your friend without feeling bad

2.you can talk to the people you honestly care about instead of seeing party invites on all your updates(LIKE ON MYSPACE!)

3. you get to play games against your closest friends

4. you can write notes (poems,thoughts etc.) and tag all your important people in it

5. a way of connecting with your family on a web community where u don't neccesarily totally embarrass yourself by posting a status about some boy/girl you hate...

6.you can't even lie about who you are....FB seems just like an honest website to me...why lie about u...that only happens on myspace!

7. there's just something different about facebook...oh yea thats right....its called PRIVACY..you don't have all those petophiles tryna hit u up on facebook...because 9 times outta 10....your mom, dad,grandmom,aunt,uncle,ya older cousin jamaul(who used to be the linebacker on the football team, who weighs a good 250lbs & loves to hit people), & ya crazy a** cousin peaches( l0l i love you Neen) love to gang bang on the daily basis & will hurt a muthaf****a!

8. YAAAAYYYY!!! NO TOP FRIENDS!!!!

bad things...or things not that great about FB.

1. family members you don't really wanna talk to are always in ya business when people post stuff on your page

2. people that go to your school hit you up on the daily basis like ya'll are best friends...(WHEN YOU HAVENT SEEN THEM IN SCHOOL IN 6 WEEKS!!!)

3. you can't really put music on your profile :/

4. you "like" someone's status or post & then after about 788 people comment on it...you don't even like it no more..

5. people who love to just "like" all of your statuses...

6. FB instant messenger...you can't escape a fool on FB once they know your online...

so difference between myspace & facebook is ultimately you can have completely privacy on one website if you choose(FB) & the other you really can't unless there's nothing on your profile...

Tyler Perry Movie

Well last night me & mama dukes went to go see the new Tyler Perry movie.
"I Can Do Bad All By Myself". All in all I thought it was a great movie.
It stars Mary J. Blige, Tyler Perry, Taraji P. Henson, Brian White, Gladys Knight, Marvin Winans, & Adam Rodriguez (the spanish dude from CSI:Miami). Great Movie, go check it out.
I laughed, I cried, & i enjoyed.

Shatter #5(unheard music)

Four lengths and four 16Th's of a beat still have no clear answer to my direct questionnaire. Quiet silence, no voices spoken, no breaths taken. Air, quiet dry; and thirsty for answers but none have appeared & were never there. And just one lung, tired, relentless & ready to expel air for a voice to be clear. Heartbeats mummer with anticipation steady with the rests in every measure. Fidgety bodies, shaky voices with butterflies because no one really knows the answer. The casual jittery feet tapping at their own significant melody mixed with staccato notes & vibrations. Lessons learned, don't ask why or how or what happens; all we know is that the song is over. Missed opportunity with only an allotment for so much music to play with only two notes dancing around sheet music, it's never clear if they will end up on paper or be thrown on the beat burner to expel like we were never here. Into Four lengths and four 16Th's of a beat, that are never heard. Question is will anyone even care?

For so long I had allowed my incense to continue burning and the purpose I still have no idea to this day. Maybe unfinished thoughts or even fathoming the thought of how much of me I would soon forget to remember. My incense has bred to its end and by all means to its fullest capacity and my fragrance is now fading. The scariest part of all, somehow in the process I've become a candle collector. Scrape, Scrape, Strike, LIGHT! smoke...although no matter how many candles I've lit and how many matches I've put out, no fragrance can substitute yours and nothing could even compare. Smoke, dark and in end lifeless and lonely. So my sole purpose of creating lonely, singular matches is to rekindle your scent every time. So candle collecting just ain't my type of thing. The only thing I long for is my incense and your candle's scent. So where's the match at man?

We often confuse loneliness with exclusion from others. certain cycles of life may bring depression but it is our choice to remove it from our alternate atmosphere and mature. Although we could do this maturing on our own we often have various distractions, and it seems difficult to remove them. But we have to remember there is all space & opportunity for change and a fresh scent....so all we must do is grow into new space & create a new perfumed scent.

Defining the measure of true reality helps one, not all, not everyone, but one to discover their place in this universe. Mixed morals are often confusing and take time to reform themselves with humanity of ones own group. If love is bias with racism, ageism, sexism & even egotheism i doubt i want to be involved because if love is only strongly with held into these categories maybe love can't be universal on its own but it's our choice to experience it, universally of course.


Well looks like I might have to keep doing this, so i can get back into the swing of writing all the time.

Okayy..
So I'm trying to break the current cycle of my writer's block..
I've decided to call it "Shattering"
In any case...it'll be called "shatter the thought" or "shatter the cycle"
The quest of this term is to pick a subject of the day no matter what it may be.
With that term...I will take the whole 12 hrs in the day[well how many hours i am awake]
& continue to write on that same path.

Simple but Complicated.

Has it occured to every female besides myself that everything comes full circle.
It technically has nothing to do with karma or fate.
For some reason a vitious cycle will never seem to end on many accounts.
No matter the change of characters or the variables.
although they can be independently changed.
It is a common phrase that "if God closes a window, he opens a door"
Lately for myself its been feeling like I'm being bum rushed with everything possible.
For some reason no matter how many times i try to change the independent variable.
I always get the wrong results when we get to the experiment.
I can never seem to fully shake the past as much as I'd like to.
There's always something that has me attached to them.
I have no clue or the slightiest why it feels everything works within a cycle.
Although a cycle that can't seem to be broken.
I feel like the wild bear cub left out in the dark woods during hibernation
ALONE.
& with only a few cubs on my side.
& honestly we all travel through this cycle
Never ending of course.
Earlier today I had realized that you can't always walk around wearn ya heart on ya sleeve
because someone is bound to rip it off & send it through a shredder.
Now that I've realized that this cycle can be eventually passed.
& that we shouldnt allow small things to effect our emotions.
Cuttin it kinda short until i think of sumthin else.
Don't allow your addiction to be fueled by a bad narcotic.
Well...all narcotics are bad..but think with me as i ramble on.

Since I was told im pretty good at this blogging thing I thought I'd bring attention to some stuff that bothers me.
Ok with groups....singing groups feel me.
In the past ba-gillion years..LMAO not even a number i kno.
ANYWAYS.
Thing that bothers me is that singing groups/rap groups might have like 6 members and they on focus on 1 person...

You can tell if i musical group is focusing on 1 person because that person is most likely singing lead or is most seen in the music videos.
RIIIIIIIIIGGGGHHHHTTTTT?!?!?!?!

that was a rhetorical question!

Then the singing group breaks up because of it...
& the one person ironically becomes a solo artist and SUDDENLY rises to fame & while the other members careers die off.
I find it odd how that lead person/ or the person they focus on is saved financially as well.
While the others live in the poor house.
& find it also ironic how this lead person/member finds themselves in almost the middle of the pictures....
ORRRR.... the group all of a sudden is like (i.e. Nina and the Ninettes)....

Otherside of the Game

I kno u'll wonder why i decided to call this
"the otherside of the game"
not to much explaining behind it...well kinda it is.
but today i went with the girls [pat, dupree, & que] to a riversharks game.
usually i would think its boring but we had the best time.

See ever since the beginning of 2009 Ive began comparing people to characters in tv shows/movies. & i found 3 comparsions of me & my friends. i think our personalities resemble those of the 3 main female characters of living single. My friend Dupree-Khadijah James. Her twin Deonah-Sinclair James. & myself- Maxine Shaw...antorney at law. haha. Anyway Khadijah is the mother like figure who always knows what to do when it comes to everyone else's life except her own love life. Khadijah runs a magazine called Flava. My friend Dupree is also the mother type and knows what to do in everyone else's life except her own love life.....Dupree loves to write. Sinclair James the light hearted cousin of Khadijah who seems naive at times and can make you happy when ever your feeling down. Alot like Deonah who is light hearted and loves to make people laugh & some of the stuff she says sounds alot like some stuff Sinclair would say. Lastly Maxine Shaw the friend of Khadijah and Sinclair who finds her way over to their home everyday just to eat all of their food. Maxine is very defensive and never knows what she wants and for some reason finds an attraction to Kyle[shut up deneen]....in the end Maxine eventually falls in love with kyle even tho in the beginning of their relationship she claims to hate him. Long story short we're alot alike[ i dont like to go into details].

gone but never forgotten

Although he isn't the 1st adolescent life to be taken by violence. Davon has in the lack of better words become a statistic of black men to have died young as a course of violence. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Though it maybe a saddening fact but other young may follow this course.
Even though I didn't know Davon that well, we were in the same college program and I spent a whole summer with him. When I first heard of his passing it seemed so surreal to me and I honestly couldn't believe it at first. This situation being that it happened early this morning is still taking effect on his many friends and family members.
It maybe true that death of someone who wasn't that close to you maybe hit people it different ways because everyone is a diverse individual but it deeply hurt me to hear of his passing. Although I can never experience the pain and hurt his family and close friends are experiencing I am just appalled that it happened to him. Like my friend Dupree told me "its becomin to normal for us to die young." The realist as I call her is completely right although I wish she wasn't.
I just feel like this basically. You always imagine/dream about your future and think that all the people you are around and have made conversation with will be there 3 years down the line. Then when you hear about someone you met or even spent some of your time with has died. It NEVER crosses your mind that the dream/imaginatory thought you had would never turn out that way. And to be completely honest it hurts. but after all this I just feel speechless.

How 4 members of our street team "RTC"
graduated the other day.
now i'm realizing how bad i wanted school to be over
I guess i just wasnt completely ready for those specific people to leave.
I think we've all heard the saying that time is something that you can never get back.
Most likely its true that i will see those 4 members alot this summer but we won't be at the same school.

can't we as human being just settle for someone just having love for you & not being in love with you...for at least for the 1st couple moments.
& women not being upset that a man doesnt wanna get married to you for wateva reason he may have....but just consider ya self @ least 1/2 way okay with them wanting to be with you....

yea i kno i say this now cuz im 17
&& i really havent experienced love
but if you could explain to me a straight definition of love
i'll surely fall in it.

So today im basically pooped 2 bbqs in 1 day...
anyways my 1st bbq was @ a nursing home in camden
it was like a family time thing..feel me
i feel bad for the people that live there.....
then again those older in age may consider themselves lucky to be on earth anotha day
then again i feel bad they have to live in misery
& that they cant be with their families like they want to
it makes me thankful that i'm healthy but depresses me @ the same time.

to one of the older ladies [that lives there] "have a good day."

because this woman was wheel chair bound & looked maybe 80 yrs old mayb more
